अनुवाद

Narada said: "Then Suparna, best among the winged, said to the dejected Galava, 'Wealth is hard to obtain. Gold, created by fire on the earth and fanned by the wind, is called hiranya, because it is entirely golden. It bears and sustains this world, and for this reason is called dhana, wealth. This eternal wealth abides in the three worlds; it is forever bound to the two Proshthapadas, to Shukra, and to the lord of wealth. Shukra takes from men the wealth earned by effort of mind; it is guarded by Ajaikapada, Ahirbudhnya, and Kubera. Thus the unattainable cannot be obtained, O best of the twice-born. And without wealth you will not get horses. For your purpose, ask here some king born in the line of royal sages, who, without oppressing his citizens, could make us both attain our goal.'"
