'O Karna, go from here and tell Drona, the son of Shantanu, and Kripa: this is now a pleasant month, favorable with water, grass, and fuel, rich in ripened herbs and forests and fruit, with scarcely any flies; the water is clear, sweet, and free of mud, the weather is pleasant, neither too hot nor too cold. In seven days there will be a new moon: let them appoint the battle then, for that day is called the one dedicated to Shakra. Also tell the king and all who have come for war: "Whatever you have set your heart on, I will accomplish it all for you." The kings and princes who follow Duryodhana's will, once they have met death by weapons, will attain the highest destiny.'
