Having scattered by the hundreds the detachments of Dhritarashtra's son's soldiers, Keshava, together with Partha, went about the whole area. Dhrishtadyumna-Parshata and Satyaki-Yuyudhana, the splendid charioteer and mighty warrior, had the camp measured out. Having reached, on Kurukshetra, the holy river Hiranvati, with good fords, clear water, and free of gravel and mud, Keshava, O Bharata, had a moat dug there; having given orders for its protection, he stationed the army there. Whatever the arrangement of the camp of the great-souled Pandavas, Keshava had the same kind of arrangement made for the kings as well.
