अनुवाद

The finest chariot-warriors equipped the chariots, the experts in horses made ready the horses, and those skilled in training elephants prepared the elephants. Then they made ready their colorful, golden armor and their various weapons of every kind. The foot-soldiers fastened to their bodies many kinds of weapons adorned with gold. The city of the son of Dhritarashtra, O Bharata, became crowded and majestic, like a festival, thronged with joyful people: within it the flood of men was its whirlpool, the chariots, elephants, and horses were its fish, the roar of conches and drums resounded, and it was rich in treasure, hoards, and jewels.
