अनुवाद

"He, true to his word and not weak in spirit, said to you among the Kurus, delighting them: 'I shall destroy the army of the Pandavas and the Shalveyas — that is my burden. Save for Drona, I could destroy the whole world; you need have no fear of the Pandavas. So the kingdom is already won for you, and the Pandavas are as good as destroyed' — such is your thought. Full of pride, you do not see the calamity already standing before you. Therefore I shall be the first to kill, in your very army, before your own eyes, none other than the elder of the Kuru line. At sunrise, having made the army ready, wait; stand on your chariot with your banner and guard the one who is true to his vow. Before your very eyes I shall bring down from his chariot with my arrows that island of refuge, Bhishma."
