अनुवाद

Sanjaya said: Having obtained the command, Bhishma, son of Shantanu, O king, spoke these words to Duryodhana, as though to gladden him: 'Having bowed to Kumara, the commander with the spear in hand, I shall today become your commander-in-chief -- of this there is no doubt. I am versed in the affairs of war and in various battle arrays, and I know how to set both hired and unhired soldiers to work. In marches, movements, battles, and in maintaining what has been won, I am as deeply versed, O great king, as Brihaspati himself. There are great and elaborate arrays -- divine, gandharva, and human; with these I shall bewilder the Pandavas. Let the fever of your anxiety depart.'
