अनुवाद

Dhritarashtra said: When Phalguna vowed to kill Bhishma, O Sanjaya, what did my foolish sons, headed by Duryodhana, do? I already see Gangeya, our father, as though slain in battle by the firm-bowed Partha, aided by Vasudeva. And he himself, the immeasurably wise great archer Bhishma, the foremost of those who strike, what did he say on hearing Partha's words? Having received the command of the Kauravas, what did Gangeya, bearer of that burden, great in wisdom and valor, undertake? Vaishampayana said: Then Sanjaya related everything to him just as the elder of the Kurus, Bhishma of boundless splendor, had spoken.
