अनुवाद

In Pushkara there is a mountain called Pushkara, possessing precious gems; there the god Prajapati himself ever dwells. All the gods, together with the great rishis, always worship Him, O lord of men, with words pleasing to the mind. From Jambudvipa various jewels arise for the beings in all these dvīpas, O joy of the Kurus. Among the brahmins, through brahmacharya, truth, and self-restraint, health and the span of life then double, and double again. In these dvīpas, O Bharata, there is one people, though the countries are named differently, and a single dharma is seen among them. Prajapati himself, the Lord, having raised the rod of punishment, ever stands guarding these dvīpas, O great king. He is the king, He is Shiva, O king, He is the father and the Forefather; He guards all beings, both the foolish and the wise, O best of men. Food here, O Kaurava, presents itself of its own accord to the peoples; they always partake of it already prepared, O great king.
