अनुवाद

'Thus, O great king, everything has been set forth to you, who asked, through the vision of the shastra, according to the truth; therefore attain peace. I have told of this world as it is seen, together with the path of its passing away; therefore be at ease, O Kaurava, concerning your son Duryodhana. Hearing this Bhumi-parva, pleasing to the mind, O best of the Bharatas, a kshatriya becomes glorious, attains his purpose, and gains the approval of the good; his life, strength, valor, and radiance increase. O guardian of the earth, the ancestors and grandsires are pleased with one who listens to this section with restraint. And this Bharata-varsha in which we dwell, and all the holy matter set forth before — all this you have now heard.'
