अनुवाद

'As moths, rushing at a blazing fire, go only to their destruction, so do my soldiers. For the sake of the kingdom, O Varshneya, I, the valiant one, have been brought to ruin, and my heroic brothers are worn out, torn by arrows. For my sake, out of brotherly love, they have lost their kingdom and their happiness. Now I value life highly, for today life itself is hard to come by. With what remains of my life I shall perform severe austerity, but I will not, in battle, cause these friends to perish, O Keshava. The mighty Bhishma, with his divine weapons, ceaselessly destroys many thousands of my chariots and my best warriors. Tell me without delay, Madhava, what I must do so that my duty be fulfilled. In this battle I see Savyasachin as if standing apart, indifferent.'
