ततो दुर्मर्षणो भीमम् अभ्यगच्छत् सुतस् तव ॥
आराद् दृष्ट्वा किरन् बाणैर् इच्छन् द्रोणस्य जीवितम् ॥
तं बाणैर् अवतस्तार क्रुद्धो मृत्युम् इवाहवे ॥
तं च भीमो ऽतुदद् बाणैस् तदासीत् तुमुलं महत् ॥
त ईश्वरसमादिष्टाः प्राज्ञाः शूराः प्रहारिणः ॥
बाह्यं मृत्युभयं कृत्वा प्रत्यतिष्ठन् परान् युधि ॥

अनुवाद

Then Durmarshana, your son, beholding him from afar, advanced upon Bhima, showering him with arrows, caring for the life of Drona. Him, in rage, he covered with arrows as if he were death itself in battle; and Bhima stung him with arrows -- then came a very great tumult. Those prudent warriors, valiant fighters, at the lord's command casting away their fear of death, stood against the enemy in battle.
