译文

Vaishampayana said: 'Those heroes, the great chariot-warriors, hastening from forest to forest, slaying many herds of deer, departed, O king, between the lands of the Matsyas, Trigartas, Panchalas, and Kichakas, surveying delightful forest tracts and lakes. Having grown the matted locks of ascetics, all clad in garments of bark and hide, together with Kunti, they, great of soul, bore the form of ascetics; at times carrying their mother, hastening, at times walking unhurried at will, they again went swiftly.'
