एकचक्रां ततो गत्वा प्रवृत्तिं प्रददुः परे ॥

Here the visible body of the fallen tyrant proclaims freedom. The comparison to a mountain peak is significant: one who seemed as unbreakable as a mountain now lies sprawled in the dust; no strength is invincible against truth. And the greatest evil is perishable: the fearsome man-eater who held the land in terror is turned into a lifeless mass. Thus the scripture shows the visible reality of retribution: the people, accustomed to trembling, see the tormentor's end with their own eyes; and the news of the fallen tyrant, spreading abroad, brings deliverance from fear to all.
