तान् धर्मकामार्थवित् उत्तमौजाः बीभत्सुः उच्चैः सहितान् उवाच आदास्यते वासम् इमम् निरुष्य वनेषु राजा द्विषताम् यशांसिtān dharmakāmārthavit uttamaujāḥ bībhatsuḥ uccaiḥ sahitān uvāca ādāsyate vāsam imam niruṣya vaneṣu rājā dviṣatām yaśāṃsiBibhatsu of great strength, knower of dharma, kama and artha, said to them all together in a loud voice: having lived out this stay in the forests, the king will strip away the glory of his enemies
द्विजातिमुख्याः सहिताः पृथक् च भवद्भिः आसाद्य तपस्विनः च प्रसाद्य धर्मार्थविदः च वाच्याः यथा अर्थसिद्धिः परमा भवेत् नःdvijātimukhyāḥ sahitāḥ pṛthak ca bhavadbhiḥ āsādya tapasvinaḥ ca prasādya dharmārthavidaḥ ca vācyāḥ yathā arthasiddhiḥ paramā bhavet naḥyou should visit the finest twice-born and the ascetics, together and separately, propitiate the knowers of dharma and worldly gain, and ask that the highest fulfillment of our purpose come to be
इति एवम् उक्ते वचने अर्जुनेन ते ब्राह्मणाः सर्ववर्णाः च राजन् मुदा अभ्यनन्दन् सहिताः च चक्रुः प्रदक्षिणम् धर्मभृताम् वरिष्ठम्iti evam ukte vacane arjunena te brāhmaṇāḥ sarvavarṇāḥ ca rājan mudā abhyanandan sahitāḥ ca cakruḥ pradakṣiṇam dharmabhṛtām variṣṭhamwhen Arjuna had spoken these words thus, the brahmins and people of all classes, O king, joyfully approved and together circled the foremost upholder of dharma, keeping him on their right
