पितामहो ऽस्मि स्थविरः पिता पुत्रश् च भारत ॥
ममैव यूयम् आत्मस्था न मे यूयं न वो ऽप्य् अहम् ॥
आत्मैव स्थानं मम जन्म चात्मा; वेदप्रोक्तो ऽहम् अजरप्रतिष्ठः ॥
अणोर् अणीयान् सुमनाः सर्वभूतेषु जागृमि ॥
पितरं सर्वभूतानां पुष्करे निहितं विदुः ॥

译文

And withal he does not enjoy great happiness in the end. Having subdued all the outer senses and remaining in solitude, one should seek Brahman. Renouncing Work, one should not strain the mind. One should also, in this pursuit, avoid delight in praise or anger at censure. O kṣatriya, acting thus, in accordance with the successive steps laid down in the Vedas, one may attain Brahman even here. This, O learned one, is all that I have to tell you.'
