译文

It was this very conqueror of hostile cities, this mighty-armed Arjuna, who satisfied Agni by defeating the gods themselves with Indra at their head. And Narayana likewise, in this world, destroyed in the same manner countless other Daityas and Danavas. Such indeed are these two mighty energies who now appear united with one another. We have heard that these two heroic and powerful chariot-warriors, Vasudeva and Arjuna, now joined together, are the very same ancient gods, the divine Nara and Narayana. Among all beings on earth, they cannot be conquered by the asuras or by the gods headed by Indra himself. This Narayana is Krishna, and Nara is Phalguna. Indeed, they are a single Soul born as two. These two, through their deeds, enjoy many eternal and inexhaustible regions, and are born again and again in those worlds whenever destructive wars are needed.
