जातो दानपतिः पुत्रस् त्वया शूरस् तथापरः ॥
सत्यधर्मरतश् चान्यो यज्वा चापि तथापरः ॥
तद् आगच्छ वरारोहे तारितस् ते पिता सुतैः ॥
चत्वारश् चैव राजानस् तथाहं च सुमध्यमे ॥
गालवस् त्व् अभ्यनुज्ञाय सुपर्णं पन्नगाशनम् ॥
पितुर् निर्यात्य तां कन्यां प्रययौ वनम् एव ह ॥

satyadharmarataś cānyo yajvā cāpi tathāparaḥ ||
tad āgaccha varārohe tāritas te pitā sutaiḥ ||

gālavas tv abhyanujñāya suparṇaṃ pannagāśanam ||

"'Through you was born one son, a lord of charity; another, a hero; yet another devoted to truth and dharma; and yet another, a performer of sacrifices. So go now, O fair-hipped one: through your sons your father is saved, four kings are saved, and I too, O slender-waisted one.' Then Galava, having received permission from Suparna, the devourer of serpents, returned this maiden to her father and went into the forest."
