译文

Then Drona, Bhishma and your son, O honored one, arrayed a great battle formation to check the Pandavas. Bhishma, surrounded on all sides by a vast army, went forth leading the great host, like the king of the gods. Following him came the blazing great archer, the son of Bharadvaja, together with the Kuntalas, Dasharnas, Magadhas, Vidarbhas, Mekalas and Karnapravaranas, O lord of the people; all these troops accompanied Bhishma, resplendent in battle. The Gandharas, Sindhu-Sauviras, Shibis, Vasatis, and Shakuni with his own army guarded the son of Bharadvaja. Then King Duryodhana, together with all his brothers, the Ashvatakas, Vikarnas, Sharmila-Kosalas, Daradas, Chuchupas and Kshudraka-Malavas, joyfully guarded the army of the son of Subala. Bhurishravas, Shala, Shalya, Bhagadatta, and the Avantis Vinda and Anuvinda guarded the left flank, O honored one. Saumadatti, Sushakman, Sudakshina of Kamboja, Shataayu and Shrutaayu took up the right flank. Ashvatthaman, Kripa and the Satvata Kritavarman, with a great army, stationed themselves in the rear. The guardians of the rear were kings of various lands: Ketuman, Vasudana and Abhibhu, son of the king of Kashi."
