译文

In the left arm, the mighty one [Arjuna], as if laughing, pierced [Karna] with a naracha; from the force of the blow, the bow fell from his pierced hand. Taking up that bow again within half an instant, the exceedingly strong one showered Phalguna with streams of arrows, like a master craftsman. That shower of arrows released by the charioteer's son, O Bharata, Dhananjaya, as if smiling, dispelled with his own shower of arrows. The two, having closed with each other, blanketed one another with a shower of arrows, sovereign, the great archers seeking to repay deed for deed.
