译文

Then Drupada's army, its armor cut through by arrows, fled in battle, O king, at the dread midnight. By lamps cast aside, blazing everywhere, the earth shone, O king, like a cloudless sky — with stars. Thus with fallen bracelets the earth shone, O great king, in the rainy season, like a cloud — with lightning. Then, in terror of Karna's son, the Somakas scattered, as if seized by fear before Indra like the Danavas in the Tarakamaya war.
