译文
Protected by those many devices, he, O king, conquers his enemies, advancing to meet them — Partha, guarded by Krishna. But Krishna guarded the Pandava especially from the unfailing dart; for, once hurled, it would have slain the son of Kunti, that dart — like a thunderbolt a tree.

Krishna guards Arjuna "especially" from one thing — the unfailing dart: wise protection knows which threat is deadliest of all. It is telling that this care is concentrated on the single irrevocable danger. The verse teaches that not every peril is equal: the wise discern the one that is inescapable and guard against it above all; foresight consists in shielding a loved one first of all from the blow that cannot be survived.
