译文

"Thus other great archers too felled the son of Subhadra [Abhimanyu] in battle. And for a small reason, O Krishna, Saindhava [Jayadratha] was slain by the wielder of Gandiva [Arjuna], O best of the Yadavas — and that does not gladden me greatly. If it is fitting for the Pandavas to act thus in the slaying of enemies, then Drona and Karna ought to be slain first in battle — such is my opinion. For these two are the root of our woes, O bull among men; having met these two in battle, Suyodhana is emboldened by them. There, where Drona and the son of the suta with his followers ought to have been slain..."
