Translation

'The unwise are not satisfied by any proof. But the rising of the fruits of virtuous and sinful deeds, their appearance and their vanishing, is a mystery of the gods. It is seen only by those purified by austerity, strict in their vows and clear of mind. One must not doubt dharma and the gods merely because the fruit is not seen at once. One must sacrifice without negligence and give without envy. The fruit of deeds exists: such is the eternal dharma, spoken by Brahma and known to Kashyapa. Let your doubt vanish like mist. Do not revile Ishvara, the Ordainer of beings; learn from him and bow to him. By his grace the devoted mortal attains immortality. Never speak ill of the supreme deity.'
