Translation

The Blessed Lord said: 'O son of Pritha, for him there is no destruction, neither here nor in the world beyond; for no one who does good, dear one, goes to an evil state. Having attained the worlds of the righteous and dwelt there for endless years, one fallen from yoga is born in the house of the pure and prosperous. Or else he is born in a family of wise yogis themselves; such a birth in this world is even harder to obtain. There he regains that connection of the buddhi attained in his former body, and then, O joy of the Kurus, strives once more toward perfection. By that very former practice he is carried along even without willing it; even one who merely wishes to know yoga transcends the Brahman of the word. But the yogi who strives with effort, purified of taint and matured through many births, then goes to the supreme goal.'
