तो मुहूर्ताद् सीत् तु न्दिनां निस्वनो हान्
नेमिघोषश् थिनां खुघोषश् वाजिनाम्
ह्रादे ण्टानां ङ्खानां निदे
राणां ब्दैश् म्पती स्म मेदिनी

tato murtād āt tu bandināṃ nisvano mahān ||
nemighoṣaś ca rathināṃ khuraghoṣaś ca jinām ||
hrādena gajaghaṇṭānāṃ śaṅkhānāṃ ninadena ca ||
naṇāṃ padaśabdaiś ca kampava sma medi ||

Translation

Then, after a moment, there rose a great clamor of bards, and the roar of chariot-wheel rims, and the clatter of horses' hooves; with the clanging of elephant-bells, and the blare of conches, and the footfall of men, the earth seemed to tremble.
