ततः शिरोभिर् अवनिं स्पृष्ट्वा सर्वे च विस्मिताः ॥
नमस्कृत्य वृषाङ्काय साधु साध्व् इत्य् अथाब्रुवन् ॥
अनुज्ञातास् ततः सर्वे सुहृदो धर्मसूनुना ॥
त्वरमाणाः सुसंनद्धा हृष्टा युद्धाय निर्ययुः ॥

tataḥ śirobhir avaniṃ spṛṣṭvā sarve ca vismitāḥ ||
namaskṛtya vṛṣāṅkāya sādhu sādhv ity athābruvan ||
anujñātās tataḥ sarve suhṛdo dharmasūnunā ||
tvaramāṇāḥ susaṃnaddhā hṛṣṭā yuddhāya niryayuḥ ||

Translation
Then all, touching the ground with their heads, amazed, having bowed to the Bull-bannered One, said: "Excellent, excellent!" And then, all given leave by the son of Dharma, the friends, hastening, fully armed, joyful, set out for battle.

The account of Shiva's grace gives rise not to envy but to shared reverence: all "śirobhiḥ avaniṃ spṛṣṭvā… sādhu sādhu" touch the ground with their heads and cry out "excellent!" Another's grace becomes joy for everyone. It is telling that after this homage the friends go forth "hṛṣṭāḥ", joyful: one man's faith has strengthened them all. The verse teaches that testimony to the Lord's mercy binds the faithful together: it does not provoke rivalry but lifts the common spirit; and an army encouraged by grace made manifest goes into battle not in fear but in joy.
