नियुज्यमानाः स्थास्यन्ति पाण्डवा र्मर्त्मनि
न्ति नो ज्ञायस् ता येषां श्रोष्यन्ति पाण्डवाः
ल्यस्य सोत्तस्य भीष्मस्य हात्मनः
द्रोस्या विर्णस्य बाह्लिस्य कृस्य
न्येषां चै वृद्धानां तानां हात्मनाम्
त्वर्थं ब्रुतां ता रिष्यन्ति चो हितम्

niyujyanāḥ sthāsyanti ṇḍa dharmavartmani ||
santi no jñātayas tāta yeṣāṃ śroṣyanti ṇḍavāḥ ||
śalyasya somadattasya bhīṣmasya ca matmanaḥ ||
droṇasyātha vikarṇasya hlikasya kṛpasya ca ||
anyeṣāṃ caiva vṛddhānāṃ bharanāṃ matmanām ||
tvadarthaṃ bruvatāṃ ta kariṣyanti vaco hitam ||

Translation

"If called upon, the Pandavas will stand firm on the path of dharma. We have kinsmen, dear one, whom the Pandavas will heed: Shalya, Somadatta, great Bhishma, then Drona, Vikarna, Bahlika and Kripa, and other elders, great Bharatas, who speak for your sake, dear one — their good word they will carry out."
