जिघांसमानाः कुरुराजपुत्राव्; अमर्षयन्तो ऽर्जुनभीमसेनौ ॥

Traducción

Those attacking swiftly, like maddened elephants, the two mighty-valored sons of Pandu, tamers of foes, met and repelled. Then those lords of the earth sprang up with weapons raised, with finger-guards and arm-guards fastened, wishing to kill the two Kuru princes, enraged at Arjuna and Bhimasena.

Comentario

Here two brothers stand against a multitude. It is telling that only two Pandavas step forward against the enraged host of kings: protection of one who has taken refuge does not retreat even before superior force. Here is the dharma of shelter: one who has taken another under protection stands by him, however strong the foe. So the text shows the fearlessness of the brothers; and the two who shielded Drupada are ready to face the whole assembly of kings.
