तत एष्याम्य् अतीते ऽग्नौ विहर्तुं पांसुसंचयम् ॥
रोचताम् एष वोपायो विमोक्षाय हुताशनात् ॥

Here the mother promises to return for her children. Her words, "I shall come to clear away the dust," are telling: even in covering them, she does not intend to leave them forever. Herein is the faithfulness of a mother whose thought, even in separation, is of returning to her children. Thus the scripture reveals Jarita's hope; but the children will prefer another course.
