युवाभ्यां पुरुषाग्र्याभ्यां तर्पितो ऽस्मि यथासुखम् ॥
अनुजानामि वां वीरौ चरतं यत्र वाञ्छितम् ॥

Here Agni, with gratitude, releases his helpers. It is significant that the god, once sated, does not detain them, but blesses them on their free way: one who is grateful repays good with good and sends forth in peace. In this is the good outcome of faithful service. Thus scripture shows Agni's leave-taking; and the three companions depart together.
