इयं या राजसूयस्य सम्राडर्हस्य सुक्रतोः ॥
श्रद्दधानस्य वदतः स्पृहा मे सा कथं भवेत् ॥

Here the king clothes his desire in a question, not a command. It is telling that Yudhishthira asks, "how might it come to pass?", entrusting the outcome to counsel and to the [will] of the Highest, rather than to his own will. Thus the scripture shows humility even in a rightful aspiration; and the sages answer.
