मया द्रष्टासि सर्वेषां सैन्धवस्याभिरक्षिणाम् ॥
शरवेगसमुत्कृत्तै राज्ञां केशव मूर्धभिः ॥
आस्तीर्यमाणां पृथिवीं द्रष्टासि श्वो मया युधि ॥

"With the weapon of Brahma, you will see the weapons of all the protectors of the man of Sindhu shattered in battle by me. And the earth strewn with the heads of kings, cut off by the rushing arrows, you will see tomorrow, O Keshava, by me in battle."

The supreme weapon — "brāhmaṃ astram", the weapon of Brahma — Arjuna turns not upon ordinary warriors but upon the very weapons of the defenders: he will shatter their means of resistance. It is telling that he speaks of tomorrow as already accomplished — "draṣṭāsi", "you will see": for one united with the Lord, the future is as certain as the past. The list of might here is not boasting but an assurance of the vow's inevitability. The verse teaches that the devotee's certainty lies not in himself but in the accord of his deed with the will of God; hence he speaks of tomorrow's victory as already accomplished, for he has entrusted it to the One who will not fail.
