यस् तं द्वेष्टि मां द्वेष्टि यस् तम् नु माम् नु
ति संल्प्यतां बुद्ध्या रीरार्धं मार्जुनः
था त्वम् प्रभातायाम् स्यां निशि थोत्तमम्
ल्पयित्वा थाशास्त्रम् दा व्रसंतः

yas taṃ dveṣṭi sa māṃ dveṣṭi yas tam anu sa m anu ||
iti saṃkalpyatāṃ buddhyā śardhaṃ marjunaḥ ||
yathā tvam aprabhām asyāṃ niśi rathottamam ||
kalpayitvā yathāśāstram āya vratasaṃyataḥ ||

Traducción

"'Whoever hates him hates me; whoever follows him follows me' — so let it be reflected upon in thought: Arjuna is half of my body. [Do this,] so that you, before it dawns, this very night, having equipped the finest chariot according to the rule, and taking it up, bound by a vow…"
