र्वेष्व् पि योधेषु चिन्तयञ् शिनिपुं
त्वत्तः सुहृत्तमं कं चिन् नाभिजानामि सात्यके
यो हि प्रीना नित्यं यश् नित्यम् नुव्रतः
कार्ये सांराये तु नियोज्य ति मे तिः
था केवो नित्यं पाण्डवानां राणम्
था त्वम् पि वार्ष्णे कृष्णतुल्यराक्रमः
सो ऽहं भारं माधास्ये त्वयि तं वोढुम् र्हसि
भिप्रायं मे नित्यं वृथा र्तुम् र्हसि
त्वं भ्रातुर् स्यस्य गुरोर् पि संयुगे
कुरु कृच्छ्रे हायार्थम् र्जुस्य र्ष

sarveṣv api ca yodheṣu cintayañ śinipuṃgava ||
tvattaḥ suhṛttamaṃ kaṃ cin nābhimi tyake ||
yo hi prītama nityaṃ yaś ca nityam anuvrataḥ ||
sa rye sāṃpaye tu niyojya iti me matiḥ ||
yathā ca keśavo nityaṃ ṇḍanāṃ payaṇam ||
tathā tvam api rṣṇeya kṛṣṇatulyapakramaḥ ||
so 'haṃ bhāraṃ sadhāsye tvayi taṃ voḍhum arhasi ||
abhiprāyaṃ ca me nityaṃ na vṛthā kartum arhasi ||
sa tvaṃ bhrātur vayasyasya guror api ca saṃyuge ||
kuru kṛcchre sartham arjunasya nararṣabha ||

तथा त्वम् अपि वार्ष्णेयtathā tvam api vārṣṇeyaso too you, O Varshneya; so too you, O descendant of Vrishni
कृष्णतुल्यपराक्रमःkṛṣṇatulyaparākramaḥequal to Krishna in valor; equal to Krishna in prowess
सः अहम् भारम् समाधास्येsaḥ aham bhāram samādhāsyeI shall place that burden; I shall lay [upon you] the burden
त्वयि तम् वोढुम् अर्हसिtvayi tam voḍhum arhasiupon you — be pleased to bear it; upon you — it befits you to bear it
अभिप्रायम् च मे नित्यम्abhiprāyam ca me nityamand my wish always; and my wish unfailingly
न वृथा कर्तुम् अर्हसिna vṛthā kartum arhasimust not [by you] be made in vain; you must not bring to nothing
सः त्वम् भ्रातुः वयस्यस्यsaḥ tvam bhrātuḥ vayasyasyayou, of the brother[-companion] friend; you, for the sake of the friend-peer brother
गुरोः अपि च संयुगेguroḥ api ca saṃyugeand also the teacher, in battle; and the teacher [to you] in battle
कुरु कृच्छ्रे सहायार्थम्kuru kṛcchre sahāyārthamperform, in distress, for the sake of help; perform, in adversity, for the sake of aid
अर्जुनस्य नरर्षभarjunasya nararṣabhafor Arjuna, O bull [among] men; for Arjuna, O bull among men
Traducción

"Reflecting among all warriors, O bull of the line of Shini, I know not, O Satyaki, of anyone who is a better friend than you. And as Keshava is ever the refuge of the Pandavas, so too are you, O Varshneya, equal to Krishna in valor. I shall lay that burden upon you — be pleased to bear it; and you must not bring my wish to nothing. For Arjuna's sake — your friend and peer, who is also your teacher in battle — perform, in this distress, the deed of help, O bull among men."
