Traducción

Iron discs, bhushundis, spears and darts, spears fell thick and fast, along with shataghnis and pattishas. Seeing that terrible and most ferocious battle, the lords of men, and your sons, and the warriors, terrified, fled away. There, one alone, proud in the strength of his weapons, Karna, proud, did not falter, and dispelled with arrows the illusion wrought by Ghatotkacha. And when the illusion had vanished, in fury Ghatotkacha loosed terrible arrows; they struck into the son of the suta.
