Traducción

Drenched in blood, [thrown] from his chariot to the ground, the subduer of foes became, like the red-bodied sun, hard to look upon; thus the soldiery saw him, slain in battle. Dhrishtadyumna, however, o king, the great archer, cast that great head of Bharadvaja before your [warriors]. They, having seen the head of Bharadvaja, o king, your [warriors], inflamed toward flight, rushed off in all directions.
