ततो ऽस्य रुधिरं वक्त्रात् प्रादुरासीद् विशां पते ॥
भज्यमानस्य भीमेन तस्य घोरस्य रक्षसः ॥

The devourer's end draws near — blood flows from the mouth that until now devoured people. This retribution is telling: the mouth that fed on human flesh now spills its own blood; punishment overtakes the place where the evil was wrought. Here is a justice in which sin returns to its own source: he who drank another's life now bleeds himself. So the scripture shows that the end of all predation is the death of the predator himself; and the blood on Baka's mouth marks not merely the outcome of the fight, but the restoration of violated justice.
