कुन्ती तु कृष्णां परिगृह्य साध्वीम्; अन्तःपुरं द्रुपदस्याविवेष ॥
स्त्रियश् च तां कौरवराजपत्नीं; प्रत्यर्चयां चक्रुर् अदीनसत्त्वाः ॥

Here the bride is led with honor into the women's quarters. It is telling that Kunti herself leads Draupadi and the women honor her: the new wife is received into the bosom of the family with dignity. Here is the good order of the household, where an elder brings a younger under the family's shelter. So the scripture shows the reverent reception of the bride, and Draupadi takes her place among the women of the Kurus.
