योजयध्वं रथान् आशु प्रासान् आहरतेति च ॥
धनूंषि च महार्हाणि कवचानि बृहन्ति च ॥
सूतान् उच्चुक्रुशुः केच् चिद् रथान् योजयतेति च ॥
स्वयं च तुरगान् के चिन् निन्युर् हेमविभूषितान् ॥
रथेष्व् आनीयमानेषु कवचेषु ध्वजेषु च ॥
अभिक्रन्दे नृवीराणां तदासीत् संकुलं महत् ॥

abhikrande nṛvīrāṇāṃ tadāsīt saṃkulaṃ mahat ||

योजयध्वं रथान् आशु प्रासान् आहरत इति चyojayadhvaṃ rathān āśu prāsān āharata iti ca‘Yoke the chariots quickly! Bring the spears!’ —
धनूंषि च महार्हाणि कवचानि बृहन्ति चdhanūṃṣi ca mahārhāṇi kavacāni bṛhanti caand precious bows, and great suits of armor;
सूतान् उच्चुक्रुशुः के चित् रथान् योजयत इति चsūtān uccukruśuḥ ke cit rathān yojayata iti casome shouted to the charioteers: ‘Yoke the chariots!’,
स्वयं च तुरगान् के चित् निन्युः हेमविभूषितान्svayaṃ ca turagān ke cit ninyuḥ hemavibhūṣitānwhile others themselves led out horses adorned with gold;
रथेषु आनीयमानेषु कवचेषु ध्वजेषु चratheṣu ānīyamāneṣu kavaceṣu dhvajeṣu caas chariots, armor, and banners were being brought up,

अनुवाद

‘“Yoke the chariots quickly! Bring the spears!” — and precious bows, and great suits of armor; some shouted to the charioteers, “Yoke the chariots!”, while others themselves led out horses adorned with gold; as chariots, armor, and banners were being brought up, there was then great confusion amid the war-cry of the heroic men.’
