बृहदंसो ऽप्रतिबलो गौरस् ताल इवोद्गतः ॥

avyaktajalpī madhvakṣo madhyamaḥ pāṇḍavo balī ||
Dhritarashtra said: 'No doubt, Sanjaya, having seen these mighty chariot-warriors, the sons of Kunti, filled his mind with great anxiety on account of these tigers among men.' Vaishampayana continued: 'Having regained his senses and grown calm, Sanjaya addressed King Dhritarashtra in the midst of the assembly of the Kurus in that hall, saying: "Indeed, O king of kings, I have seen these great warriors, the sons of Kunti, grown thin in body from the privations in which they lived at the court of King Matsya. Hear, O king, with whom the Pandavas will fight against you."'
