कस् तांस् तरस्विनो भूयः संदीपयति पाण्डवान् ॥
अर्चिष्मतो महेष्वासान् हविषा पावकान् इव ॥
संजय उवाच
धृष्टद्युम्नः सदैवैतान् संदीपयति भारत ॥
युध्यध्वम् इति मा भैष्ट युद्धाद् भरतसत्तमाः ॥
ये के चित् पार्थिवास् तत्र धार्तराष्ट्रेण संवृताः ॥
युद्धे समागमिष्यन्ति तुमुले कवचह्रदे ॥
तान् सर्वान् आहवे क्रुद्धान् सानुबन्धान् समागतान् ॥
अहम् एकः समादास्ये तिमिर् मत्स्यान् इवौदकान् ॥
भीष्मं द्रोणं कृपं कर्णं द्रौणिं शल्यं सुयोधनम् ॥
एतांश् चापि निरोत्स्यामि वेलेव मकरालयम् ॥

yudhyadhvam iti mā bhaiṣṭa yuddhād bharatasattamāḥ ||
ye ke cit pārthivās tatra dhārtarāṣṭreṇa saṃvṛtāḥ ||
yuddhe samāgamiṣyanti tumule kavacahrade ||
tān sarvān āhave kruddhān sānubandhān samāgatān ||
aham ekaḥ samādāsye timir matsyān ivaudakān ||
bhīṣmaṃ droṇaṃ kṛpaṃ karṇaṃ drauṇiṃ śalyaṃ suyodhanam ||
etāṃś cāpi nirotsyāmi veleva makarālayam ||

And excellent horses of great size, equal in years and strength to the horses of the Pandavas themselves, endowed with great swiftness and handsome appearance, all given by the celestials, carry these young princes, the sons of Subhadra and Draupadi.’
