भोजराजस्य वृद्धस्य दुराचारो ह्य् अनात्मवान् ॥
जीवतः पितुर् ऐश्वर्यं हृत्वा मन्युवशं गतः ॥
उग्रसेनसुतः कंसः परित्यक्तः स बान्धवैः ॥
ज्ञातीनां हितकामेन मया शस्तो महामृधे ॥
आहुकः पुनर् अस्माभिर् ज्ञातिभिश् चापि सत्कृतः ॥
उग्रसेनः कृतो राजा भोजराजन्यवर्धनः ॥
कंसम् एकं परित्यज्य कुलार्थे सर्वयादवाः ॥
संभूय सुखम् एधन्ते भारतान्धकवृष्णयः ॥
अपि चाप्य् अवदद् राजन् परमेष्ठी प्रजापतिः ॥
व्यूढे देवासुरे युद्धे ऽभ्युद्यतेष्व् आयुधेषु च ॥
bhojarājasya vṛddhasya durācāro hy anātmavān ||
jīvataḥ pitur aiśvaryaṃ hṛtvā manyuvaśaṃ gataḥ ||
ugrasenasutaḥ kaṃsaḥ parityaktaḥ sa bāndhavaiḥ ||
jñātīnāṃ hitakāmena mayā śasto mahāmṛdhe ||
āhukaḥ punar asmābhir jñātibhiś cāpi satkṛtaḥ ||
ugrasenaḥ kṛto rājā bhojarājanyavardhanaḥ ||
kaṃsam ekaṃ parityajya kulārthe sarvayādavāḥ ||
saṃbhūya sukham edhante bhāratāndhakavṛṣṇayaḥ ||
api cāpy avadad rājan parameṣṭhī prajāpatiḥ ||
vyūḍhe devāsure yuddhe 'bhyudyateṣv āyudheṣu ca ||
‘Kamsa, son of Ugrasena, of evil conduct and lacking self-control, seizing power from his own father, the aged king of the Bhojas, while he still lived, fell under the sway of anger. Abandoned by his kinsmen, this Kamsa, son of Ugrasena, was slain by me in a great battle for the good of the family. Ahuka, that is, Ugrasena, was once again honored by us and by our kinsmen and installed as king, one who increases the kingdom of the Bhojas. Having given up Kamsa alone for the sake of the family, all the Yadavas, Bharatas, Andhakas, and Vrishnis, gathered together, live happily. And further, O king, once the Supreme Progenitor, the Lord of Creatures, spoke, when the battle of the gods and asuras had been arrayed and weapons had been raised…’
