अनुवाद

'Yudhishthira is a king's son and a great soul; this kingdom has come to him by right. He is the protector of this Kuru people and their ruler, a man of great worth. He is faithful to truth, ever vigilant, grounded in the teaching, kind to his kin, dear to his subjects, compassionate to his friends, master of his senses, and a support to the righteous. Forbearance, endurance, self-restraint, uprightness, fidelity to true vows, learning, vigilance, compassion for living beings, and the capacity to govern — all the qualities of a king are gathered in Yudhishthira. You, however, are no king's son; you behave ignobly, are greedy, and harbor evil thoughts toward your kin. How, ill-bred as you are, will you be able to seize this kingdom belonging to others, which has come to them by succession? Abandon your delusion, and give up half the kingdom, together with its forces and its equipage. Then what remains of your life, O lord of men, shall belong to you, together with your younger brothers.'
