अथैनम् अब्रवीत् क्रुद्धः क्रूरः संरक्तलोचनः ॥
ये त्वया सुनृशंसेन दीर्घकालं प्रवासिताः ॥
यच् च ते पाण्डवा राजंश् छलद्यूते पराजिताः ॥
यच् चैव द्रौपदी कृष्णा एकवस्त्रा रजस्वला ॥
सभाम् आनीय दुर्बुद्धे बहुधा क्लेशिता त्वया ॥
तव च प्रियकामेन आश्रमस्था दुरात्मना ॥
सैन्धवेन परिक्लिष्टा परिभूय पितॄन् मम ॥
एतेषाम् अवमानानाम् अन्येषां च कुलाधम ॥
अन्तम् अद्य गमिष्यामि यदि नोत्सृजसे रणम् ॥
एवम् उक्त्वा तु हैडिम्बो महद् विस्फार्य कार्मुकम् ॥
संदश्य दशनैर् ओष्ठं सृक्किणी परिसंलिहन् ॥
शरवर्षेण महता दुर्योधनम् अवाकिरत् ॥
पर्वतं वारिधाराभिः प्रावृषीव बलाहकः ॥

saindhavena parikliṣṭā paribhūya pitṝn mama ||
eteṣām avamānānām anyeṣāṃ ca kulādhama ||
antam adya gamiṣyāmi yadi notsṛjase raṇam ||
evam uktvā tu haiḍimbo mahad visphārya kārmukam ||
saṃdaśya daśanair oṣṭhaṃ sṛkkiṇī parisaṃlihan ||
śaravarṣeṇa mahatā duryodhanam avākirat ||
parvataṃ vāridhārābhiḥ prāvṛṣīva balāhakaḥ ||
Then Ghatotkacha, enraged, fierce, his eyes reddened, said to him: "You cruelly sent the Pandavas into long exile; they were defeated in a deceitful game of dice, O king. Evil-minded one, you brought Draupadi-Krishna into the assembly in a single garment, during her monthly courses, and tormented her in many ways. For your gratification, the villainous king of Sindhu harassed her when she was in the hermitage, scorning my fathers. For these humiliations and for others, vilest of your line, I will bring this to its end today, if you do not abandon the battle." Having said this, Haidimba-Ghatotkacha strongly drew his great bow, bit his lip between his teeth, licking the corners of his mouth, and showered Duryodhana with a mighty rain of arrows, as a cloud in the rainy season covers a mountain with streams of water.
