अनुवाद

Then Drona, Kripa, Karna, the son of Drona, the king, Jayadratha, Vinda and Anuvinda of Avanti, and Shalya held them back. But those, ablaze with noble duty, unyielding, unapproachable, wounded, would not let go of Drona — the Panchalas together with the Pandavas. Then Drona, enraged, loosing hundreds of arrows, wrought great slaughter among the Chedis, Panchalas, and Pandavas. The twang of his bowstring against the guard was heard in every direction, O worthy one, like the crash of the thunderbolt, striking terror into many of the Pandavas' warriors.
