दिशो वितस् स्य र्वाश् प्रदिशस् था
णे ऽभिन्योः क्रुद्धस्य रूपम् न्तधी
काञ्चनं यद् यद् स्यासीद् र्म चाणानि
नुषश् राणां तद् श्या केलम्
तं दा नाकत् कश् चिच् क्षुर्भ्याम् भिवीक्षितुम्
दानं रैर् योधान् ध्ये सूर्यम् स्थितम्

taṃ ta śakat kaś cic cakṣurbhyām abhikṣitum ||

अनुवाद

As he ranged through all the directions and intermediate directions in the battle, the form of the enraged Abhimanyu became invisible. All that was golden about him — his armor, his ornaments, his bow, and his arrows — that alone we saw. Him then no one could gaze upon with his eyes, taking the lives of warriors with his arrows, abiding in the midst of the host like the sun.
