थास्य सूस्य शिरो निकृत्य; ल्ले ज्रानिसंनिभे
सुर्शस्यापि शिनिप्रवीरः; क्षुरे चिच्छे शिरः प्रह्य
कुण्डलं पूर्णशिप्रकाशं; भ्राजिष्णु क्त्रं निर्त देहात्
था पुरा ज्ररः प्रह्य; स्य संख्ये ऽतिस्य राजन्

अनुवाद

Then, having severed his charioteer's head with a broad-headed arrow resembling a thunderbolt, the hero of Shini also, by force, cut off Sudarshana's head with a razor-arrow. Adorned with earrings, resembling the full moon, he severed the radiant face from the body, as of old the thunderbolt-bearer [Indra] by force [severed the head] of Bala, the exceedingly mighty one, in battle, O king.
