द्य द्बानिर्दग्धं तितं णीले
द्रक्ष्यतस् त्वां णे वीरौ हितौ केवार्जुनौ
द्य र्मसुतो राजा श्रुत्वा त्वां नितं या
व्रीडो विता द्यो येनासी प्रवेशितः
द्य मे विक्रमं पार्थो विज्ञास्यति नंयः
त्वयि भूमौ विनिते याने रुधिरोक्षिते

अनुवाद

Today, burned by my arrows, fallen upon the ground, the two heroes shall see you in battle -- Keśava and Arjuna together. Today the king, the son of Dharma, hearing that you have been slain by me, shall at once be ashamed -- he by whom you were sent here. Today Pārtha Dhanañjaya shall know my valor, when you, slain, lie upon the earth, drenched in blood.
