अनुवाद

And the night, O best of the Bharatas, was for the warriors skilled in battle like the night of doom, fearsome in aspect, striking terror. But Shikhandin, O great king, cut the great bow of Gautama with a crescent-headed arrow - strung, with its arrow, then. At him, enraged, Kripa, O king, hurled a fearsome dart with a golden shaft, its point unblunted, polished by the smith. Shikhandin cut it as it hurtled toward him with many arrows; it fell to the earth, blazing, illuminating all, radiant.
