अनुवाद

And blazing lamps on chariots, elephants, and horses were seen, O great king, like great meteors fallen from the sky. That night, O best of the Bharatas, illumined by lamps, became like unto day, O king, at the head of the battle. As darkness, when seized by the sun, perishes in the world, so the fearsome darkness perished, adorned with blazing lamps. All the gleams of weapons and armor and of the jewels of the great-souled faded away, outshone by those lamps.
